Matthew and Charleth are old friends. Ten years ago they got to know each other in a chat of an online game. Today they meet accidentally.
“Matthew Carrington?” Charleth shouts in an excited way. He turns around incredulously.
“Charleth Seaton? What a surprise”, he says and goes to her, “how are you?”
“I’m fine. Thank you. Would you drink a coffee with me?”
Matthew agrees and they go to a well–known coffee-bar in the city to talk.
After twenty minutes, Charleth asks him about his daughter Grace.
“She went to Harvard last year”, Matthew tells proudly and smiles, “she has a boyfriend, now.”
“What’s his name?” Charleth asks interestedly and takes a sip of her cappucchino.
Matthew winks to her conspiratorially.
“Do you know who Mark Zuckerberg is?”
Charleth ponders and shakes her head.
“No, I don’t,” Charleth answers quickly and looks up.
“Mark Zuckerberg is the founder of facebook”, Matthew says.
“What is facebook? I didn’t hear about that”, she asks and drinks a sip.
Matthew is surprised.
“Facebook is a social network in the world wide web”, he answers knowingly.
“What can you do there?”
“You can meet friends, talk in chats and you have an account. Facebook has over 500 million members”
“Oh, I’m old”, Charleth says and turns red, “I know what youtube is, but I don’t know facebook”, she says loudly and laughs.
“What is youtube?” Matthew asks helplessly.
“That’s a site where you can listen to music and watch videos!”
“I see. Grace told me about that. She downloaded a video there,” Matthew tells her and nods.
“I see, I see. It’s great. I’ve got an account for the website”, she says quietly and coughs, “I like ebay, online shopping, chats, wikipedia and zalando, too.”
Matthew laughs and drinks the rest of his coffee. He clears his throat.
“Mark told me that you can also create an own profile on facebook.”
“Isn’t that dangerous?” Charleth asks.
“No, I’m careful”, Matthew tells her and stands up.
“Where are you going? You need to go now?” Charleth asks sadly and she looks up to him.
“I have a date with a woman”, Matthew tells her and pays his coffee at a waiter.
“Who is she?” she asks curiously.
“Do you know who Oprah Winfrey is? She has her own TV – Show. I’ve got to know her in a chat on my apple laptop.”
